I think I finally got all the forum permissions done the way I want. I've set things up for maximum privacy for our members. To that end, I removed the Google Map feature in Who's Online.

Here's a general summary of permissions:

• Guests CANNOT view user profiles; nor can they view the Who's Online feature, Usergroups, or the Memberlist. All that you see and are capable of viewing prior to logging in is what guest users can see.
  
• Guests CAN see the Member Photos subforum, but they CANNOT read any of the topics inside. You must be registered and logged in to do that.
  
• Members CAN post polls and add calendar events in all forum areas.
  
• Members CAN delete their own posts.
  
• Members CANNOT post sticky topics or announcements.*
  
• Of course, myself and the global moderators CAN moderate in every forum area
  

*If you have a topic that is important enough for a sticky and/or announcement, let me or a moderator know and we'll do it for you.
