Another of my time-wasters...Formula 1. Unfortunately, it's been a few years since I've had time to watch all the races. But I still keep up. Anyone else a fan?

Three things I'm excited about:

1. Michael Schumacher is back driving for Mercedes GP. No, he hasn't won yet this season, but he's finishing strong in every race.
2. The United States Grand Prix will be back for 2012 at a purpose built facility east of Austin, TX. Too bad Tony George and Bernie had to have a falling out, because having the race at Indy was exciting.

3. Ferrari still hasn't fallen apart with Schumi's parting several years ago or from Felipe Massa's devastating accident last season involving a broken suspension part from another car bashing him in the head. They went 1-2 at the Turkish GP, so that's good.

I am fan too!!

Nice! I've heard that MotoGP superstar Valentino Rossi is test driving for Ferrari this year.

Formula 1 fan? Yes, I am!

I haven't real fave team, I prefer to judge the drivers abilities and talent.
Watching a good driver doing well with a medium car is better than watching someone winning with the absolute best one.

I remember some of the miracles done by Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher.

Today fave pilots: still Schumacher, Vettel, Kubica.

Yeah, but the problem is even the best driver needs the best car to be dominant. Overall, however, F1 is becoming more boring due to over regulation.

Here's a good demo of just how quick an F1 car is. 3 other Mercedes drivers in cars of various performance levels get a handicap advantage at Silverstone over David Coulthard in his McLaren-Mercedes Grand Prix car.

Coulthard easily catches all three and passes them in the final corner to take the 'win'.

Won't be on TV for me. grrrrrrrrr Idiot US stations will only carry the Canadian Grand Prix and a few other big ones like Monaco.

It actually was on TV....I caught the last half or so....amazing how boring it has become since I was watching regularly.
